As a child, animals were always my favorite thing to draw. As as adult, I love to paint them. Most of my clientele consists of people who are crazy about their "fur kids". :-)
Here's a few of the commissioned pieces I've done:
Any chance of you drawing a cat that likes to attack three little boys while they are sleeping? That's what my cat likes to do. Not like they don't deserve it or anything...
Those are great Layla...what a riot! I especially love Gunther with the school bus in his mouth. He must be a bus chaser? You are very talented. What about your little Chi-a-wa-wa? I hate spelling that word...can never remember it. ;)
You are so talented!! No wonder your renovations are so filled with creative and artful ideas! What wonderful fun artworks! Perhaps the next ones could be of your own pets involved in the renovations of The Lettered Cottage! Maybe a storyline for an upcoming children's tale OR perhaps a wonderful fun and funny book on home renovations! Four cats live here at Rosemary Cottage -- all females -- with very distinct personalities.
Thanks for sharing -- perhaps you would consider a line of fun placemats and napkins? How about dishes? Or a wallpaper border for kids' rooms?
My daughter is such an animal lover. I have to show her these. She'd love them. She could draw animals all day long. Maybe she'll grow up to be an artist who paints them like you! -Julia :-)
