Picture Ledge - Update
Well, I can finally sort of mark "order photos for the pictures ledge" off my To Do list! The more I look at them, the more I wish they were a little more sepia. Not totally sepia, but more "black and white mixed with sepia". Oh well, they'll do for now. :-)
Pictured, from left to right, are:
Benton Palmer (Kevin's brothers son)
Gavin Norris (my brothers son)
Maddox Norris (my brothers son)
Lee Ann Palmer (Kevin's brothers daughter)
It's the first thing I see when I walk out of my bedroom door in the morning, and it couldn't be a nicer way to wake up. :-)
The frames all came from Michaels, and the sentiment cards came from Pottery Barn a couple of years ago.
I've decided on a paint color for the Dining Room, so before long, the wall behind them will be a soft shade of robin's egg blue. My Mom has the color on her ceiling in her Dining Room, and I fell in love with it. I'm going to paint the Kitchen the same color. So if I'm on anyones Christmas list who is reading this:
All I want for Christmas is my two....wait, A HOME DEPOT GIFTCARD!!!! :-)

I can't wait to see the color blue you picked out. I've been trying to find just the right color blue for my kitchen with no luck... everything looks too pastel to me.
ReplyDeletethe pictures look lovely,
ReplyDeletehope you find the right shade of blue,I have my kitchen blue and yellow,
but that same blue didnt work in the dining room, now its a shade of grey blue, and its still not right,
what works in one room doesnt always play well in others,
hope you find the perfect shade.
i am painting my bathroom the same color! and i have the bead board about 75% of the way up the wall and the robins egg will be th eother 25%..... i cant wait!
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous! I have the same "TO DO" on my list. But I also need to get new pictures of the kiddos taken, so that will make the decision making even harder! Ha! Ha! Love the sentiment cards too. :o)
ReplyDeleteWould you mind sharing what color blue that is? I'd really appreciate it! Guess I'm not the only one searching for the perfect blue.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Jane
