  23. Hi Layla~
I LOVE the quote from Dr Seuss at the beginning of this post! I want to make a sign w/ that on it. Do you know what book that came out of?
My dream is to have property on a ridgetop here. I want a place where people come to heal. But most of all, I want to foster teens. I had a vision a couple of months ago, where I was sitting in a circle of 30 young girls. Listening. Inspiring. Teaching them about their inner voice.
The other thing that I knew is that I need to learn how to scrapbook, because that is one thing these girls don't have. They don't have anyone that has taken pictures. Some of them arrive w/ a few clothes in a garbage bag. And that is all.
So it has been fun to be in blogland exploring all the blogs on scrapbooking.
I'm not sure why I shared all of this. I think it started w/ reading that quote & imagining that being somewhere in my home to remind the girls..to uplift them. It would even be fun to see what the page looks like that it is on. Thank you again Layla!

  45. Such a sweet thing to do. I love everything home, as well. Even before it was the "in thing", I was decorating, crafting, scraping, cooking and taking care of a modern home like I was from the 50's, but with equality. I was a "Shabby Eclectic" girl. In the 80's no one got it. Today everyone gets it and loves my style. I think you have great gifts to offer. Love your blog. Kathy
