I like that lamp base, yesterday i saw one shaped like the eiffeltower it was so pretty but i didnt have room for it.

I recently saw the green rug, which I was sure came from Pottery Barn, at a Home Goods store. The 5 x 8 size was $149!

ReplyDeleteJCPenney is my (not so) secret source for lookalike accessories and certain furniture items... even for clients!... who have been shocked when they found out where I shopped. You're so right... it just takes a little time and knowing good design when you see it no matter the price.

ReplyDeleteOh dear!! More lamps!! I have oodles of them in the garage. I like to change them out with the curtains. It makes the whole room seem fresh and different. I just think I will need to rent a storage place soon. I have so many curtains and lamps my husband might just try to CraigsList me soon!! :)

ReplyDeleteI love PB style! It's wonderful that so many companies will copy their wonderful designs and then knock them off in similar materials for less. Overstock is also a good place to comparison shop. When I'm looking for something, too often I get stuck in comparison shopping, thinking that I'll find it for a lot less if I just keep looking ... and I never end up buying. lol!
