It has been so nice reading through all the comments everyone has left for me today...thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind words! I can't wait to see who wins the goodies on Thursday. :-)
Since I started offering design consulting services here on my blog, my Photo Consultation has quickly become one of my most popular options.
They're so much fun to create, and it's always neat to see the "after" photos my clients send in when they're finished implementing my some, or all, of my suggestions. Here's a look at a few drawings I've done recently. Just hover over each photo with your cursor to see what I suggested these five homeowners do to transform their spaces!
I can't tell you how much I enjoy creating these inspirational drawings for my clients.
I really form a strong emotional connection with the homes I have the pleasure of working on. Sometimes, it almost feels like I've actually been inside them by the time I'm done working on them. Especially if I do a Virtual Consultation. That's really crazy! Hey, how cool would it be if Mr. Lettered Cottage and I could road trip to a client's house so we could do a photo shoot reveal of the finished product? Hmmmm......anyone that lives in the southeast up for that?
Speaking of Mr. LC, he has expressed interest in writing another post- what do you think, should I let him? :-)
Thanks again ya'll!
Layla
OH, you should totally let Mr. L.C. have another post. I was surprised to read such a well written and informative post by him before
ReplyDelete(I would be curious to see how he could top that one actually.) HA!
Wow. They look great - you're good.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us take a peek.
I LOVE looking at your photo consultations!! I am very visual, and I need to SEE all the ideas....love it!
ReplyDeleteSuzanne
Hey Layla! Thank you so much for your inspiration. BTW, that would happen to be my yucky fireplace photo that you updated. I'm working on it as I type! Lovin it! Also, would you enter me for today's giveaways with Dee and Sara? I never win anything, but it's worth a try. And last, I live in the Southeast. Well sort of...how about a nice trip to Charlotte, NC for a home re-do. THere is lot's of re-do's to do here! Kim

ReplyDeleteI definitely vote "yes" for Mr. LC to wrote another blog post.
ReplyDeletethese are amazing transformations! and i especially love the little puppy face you left in the last one! :)
ReplyDeletelayla - do you have a link or an image saved of the PB photo wall that inspired the photo wall in the first example??
ReplyDeletei have seen that picture, but i cant seem to find it now.
You are very talented Layla! Hey on a side note: my 20 yr old daughter loves Flyleaf and she was playing the song that was written about you so I told her that I knew who the song was written about and showed her your blog. Anyway, she thought that was so cool! They were playing here in Little Rock, AR on sunday and she begged me to go with her, but it was pouring down rain and it was an outdoor concert so we didn't go. She's still a it upset she missed it. We were trying to speculate what the lyrics were saying you went through...care to elaborate??
ReplyDeleteGod Bless You!
Darlene
That would be a yes, Layla. Can't wait to hear what Mr. LC has to share with us all this time.

Layla, You have a natural eye and a gift for design work. You should have your OWN show on HGTV. Maybe you can replace DESIGN ON A TIME, which looks more like five cents. Congratulations on you one year blog anniversary. I am looking forward to seeing what the future brings for you. Lori
