We're on the True Value DIY Squad!

If you read our blog regularly, you know we LOVE a good DIY challenge. So when the folks at True Value asked us to be a part of their national DIY Squad we were pumped!

Our DIY Squad team members are:

The Challenge: Blog about 2-3 DIY projects during October, November and December using a $1000 gift card, courtesy of True Value.

We visited our local True Value the other day and compiled an extensive list of things we might need to tackle some projects we had in mind. We felt like kids in a candy store! We literally walked up and down every aisle, clipboard in hand, scribbling down our wish list for two hours. It was surreal. :-)

Within the next few days, we'll announce our first project. Some of our ideas include- a Master Bedroom project, an exterior project, and one has to do with an old door we found that just happens to fit our Guest Bathroom doorway perfectly.
We're excited to see what the rest of the DIY Squad has up there sleeves too!
They're a talented bunch, so I'm sure there will be lots of great True Value tips and tutorials on their blogs over the coming months as well.

The fun doesn't stop at tutorials though. I'm happy to announce that True Value is also giving away a prize worth $5,000 to one lucky homeowner in their DIY Drama Contest!
