Greetings! We're visiting family in North Carolina today, and we plan to hit the road back to sweet home Alabama tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait to sleep in our bed and see our furkids...it feels like we've been gone forever!
We've received quite a few emails about the items we used in Brandon and Heather's room re-do, so I'll be sure to blog about all of them when we get back home. It was such a fun makeover, and an experience we'll never forget!
In the meantime, I thought I'd post a few photos of some other rooms I've had the pleasure of (virtually) working on this year.
(Move your cursor back and forth over my clients "before" photos below to check out the inspiration drawings I created for them)
The environment we surround ourselves with inside our homes plays such a huge part in shaping the image we portray outside our homes. So have fun creating spaces that reflect the personalities of the people who call your house, home!
Hope you're having a great week!
Layla

ReplyDeleteThey're fabulous! I love every one of them. I could just sit and click on the photos over and over. :-) Great job!
Hi again guys! I just saw your episode, and wanted to tell you it's great! I had seen the pics in your post, but it looks so wonderful in the video... congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI want to live in all these houses!! :) You always know the best color schemes. I think the colors that you chose to put in your home and put together are so so important. They can completely change the look of a room.
ReplyDeleteGreat rooms! Love your work and your blog! We loved your segment on the 700 club...you guys were so much fun to watch! ~Destiny
ReplyDeleteLots of Talent and Style
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the site.

Ok I looked at the first before and thought....what's wrong with that room? It's cute. THEN I looked at your after and thought....oh that's what's wrong! LOL If I ever get a house I'm coming to you guys!!!
ReplyDeleteEveryone of these redesign pictures is sooooo inspriational, Layla--the transformations are just awesome! Your hardwork and gifted talent absolutely shine. I love it when you share this kind of post and as someone else commented, I could just hover back and forth for hours ejoying all the detail!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!

You are such a gifted designer, I love all your work!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is impressive. You have a great eye for design. Just a question, what software do you use for your virtual consultations?
ReplyDeleteWow! what great makeovers!!
ReplyDeleteLayla, I notice that you use a LOT of baskets. Can you share where you buy them. I have looked and looked in stores near me and no luck. Is there somewhere where they can be ordered or are baskets a "southern" thing?
Hovering over the photos is like playing a game in which you have to find all the things that are different! With such beautiful images, it is both fun and inspiring!!
ReplyDeleteAmy
I am in awe. You have done it again and again. You are an artist.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the photos! Love the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Would you mind sharing where you have/would/do buy the variety of wooden blinds that you have in each room?
ReplyDeleteLove it all! Oh if we were all so gifted with this fabulous talent.
ReplyDeleteLayla, your designs are so beautiful! Do you have a source list for any of these rooms? I love the rugs you use and I can never find any that I like!
ReplyDeleteLayla ... every single make over is fabulous. Some are huge and some are just your little touches to bring colour (the right colour) or re-arrange. What an eye!!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your website and I love it! You are very talented. The before and after pictures are amazing. Love your style!
ReplyDeleteI am thinking of putting some bamboo roman shades behind my curtains. I like the layered look on your pictures. Is there an affordable place to buy some that you would recommend?
Thanks,
Natalie
I frequently visit your site but don't often comment but these consultation photos are unbeliveable!! I love looking at your ideas. As everyone else has said, you are so utterly talented!
ReplyDeleteLovely as always!!
ReplyDeleteLayla - there is nothing better than seeing one of your after pictures and having it look like my own living room! The brown section w/ blue curtians is the look I'm been stumbling towards! I just put up the blue curtains much to the dismay of my mother & sister but loved them so I followed my gut. Having you confirm that is like an early Christmas gift!
ReplyDeleteYour work is amazing!!!
These are BEAUTIFUL. Thanks for sharing. I love how you look UP and take the eye that direction. . .I'm looking around my house and seeing I don't have much "up" there either. Some of the rooms were hard to get past...you have a great eye for transformation. I hope to use your services one day :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely amazing! I'm seriously in awe!
ReplyDeleteYour virtual consultanting is breath taking and makes me speechless. How I wish you could decorate my entire house. Love you and your husbands work.
