Houzz Ideabook- The Fifth Element

This weeks Ideabook is all about that big ol' space you stare up at every time you can't sleep. The one that acts as a floor to your attic, and a roof to your rooms.
It's all about the "fifth wall", a.k.a your ceiling!

  6. Layla, can you please come talk to my husband. I have been trying to get him to understand the ceiling thing for three years now. I even had F. R. E. E. that spells free (to many commercials in my life) wood flooring to go on my bedroom ceiling and he took it to the dump because it had nails in it and he didn't think it was worth it. Love the man and he is usually on board with my pie in the sky dreams, but not this one. Thanks for posting this idea book, maybe it will help. Cross your fingers.

  7. Awesome ideas. When we moved in we just threw up some white ceiling paint. You have got me wanting to do more. Never have enough projects ya know?

  8. Details on the ceiling can add so much to the look of a room. There's so much free space up there. Great pictures!

  9. Love the ceiling ideas... especially the beadboard! I can't wait until you finish your bathroom ceiling and can tell us all how to do it! :) (Then, I am likely going to shamelessly copy you by adding them to my own house!)
