Houzz Ideabook: Creating Wall Groupings That Wow

This week's Ideabook is all about adding some vibrancy to your vertical space.
Wall groupings add a lot of pizazz, but getting them "right" can be a daunting task. What should you use? How should you arrange it all? There are lots of things to consider. So I've outlined some helpful tips, and featured ten fabulous photos as inspiration that will hopefully alleviate some of the anxiety associated with creating walls that wow.

  1. I am obsessed with grouping right now. I did a collage of flea market find mirrors all painted white, probably about 20 of them. I love it! It's a great way to fill a large space without having the expense of a large item.

  2. In the nick of time! I have been puzzling over an art wall for a couple of weeks now. I wasn't sure if I could put pictures down low like that, but it looks great!

  3. Love the red mirrors! I once recommended to a friend, whose kids never hung their clothes up, to line the entire wall with hooks and let the clothes be the art! At least its on the wall and not on the floor!

  4. We have been playing with wall groupings for a gallery in the hallways. These make great inspiration for us to toy with.

    Thanks for sharing,

  5. I need help in this area, big time! I just hung up a bunch of frames in my stairway, and I hated it. Gotta start over.
    Thanks for the inspiration!
