ReplyDeleteHi Layla, have you ever found a folding canvas chair like the one in image #1, I love it and would like to buy one. just wondering, thanks! Rachel -Dd

ReplyDeleteYippee!
ReplyDeleteI am with you all.
ReplyDeleteLove stripes, ticking and painted furniture with stripes.
I also for an inexpensive way to keep changing things up take my husbands old stripe shirts and make porch swing pillows with them. I don't have a machine so it's usually iron on or pinned like a present.( a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do..hehe)
Love all the pics Layla, I just can't quite figure out how you have the time to do some many things in one day, especially with the consultations. Maybe it's the cereal? Have a fun day. geri.
I could look at your reading/writing nook a million times and never grow tired of it.

I LOVE stripes...especially when mixed with burlap and black and white damask or toile! After seeing this post I'm seriously thinking about using fabric paint to paint stripes on my all white Ikea Ektorp Ottoman. Thanks for the ideas!

ReplyDeleteLove all the decorating ideas to be had from those pics. I love all the stripes and look forward to the day when I can #1 Keep things clean for more than 10 minutes, and #2 use more creams and nuetrals in my decorating (bad idea w/ jelly print hands). Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI too hav a thing for stripes. I am a decorative painter and love using very rough dry brushed stripes for distressed furniture. I just finished an old "La Petite Maison" sign with STRIPES! Yes!

Stripes are my go to pattern. I am always drawn to stripes, especially in black and white, You should see my inspiration file on stripes, it goes on forever. I have a post already to go next week on this very subject. A subject near and dear to my heart. Loved all of your images, in fact your reading nook is one picture that is in my file. I have a link to your blog for that picture. Love everything you do and even more than what you do, I love the spirit in which you do it. Kathysue
