Dining/Kitchen Inspiration

I put together some things to inspire the palette for our Dining Room & Kitchen.
Since the two rooms are open to each other, I figured it would be nice for them to be in harmony texture/color-wise.

I love the look of dark rattan, burlap, seashells, sprout or apple green and creamy white dishes together. Oh, and let's not forget my metals- satin nickel & stainless steel. I am trying to photograph the rooms so that I can post pictures, but I'm not happy with the lighting in the photos. Guess I'll just have to do another video!
:-P

  2. Hmmm... I can see your new kitchen video on google reader, but not here on your blog to comment?! So I'll comment on this post instead~

Girl you two have got it GOIN' ON! The kitchen looks FAB. Those knobs were the perfect choice. Love the shell photos. What were the black and white pics?
The cabs are gorgeous, and I love the apple green accents. And the baskets!

  6. Mmmmm...love that green! You've got such wonderful taste, Layla!

To answer your question about Alabama, I'm going to be in Huntsville for a Bible educational convention. I've never really been anywhere else in Alabama so I'm not sure where that is in relation to Prattville?

  8. Hi Nikki!

The black and white prints are of two old record players. Kevin is a musician, so I hung those there as a little "shout out" to him. :-)
