Mom's Christmas Tree - 2008

I'm going to visit my Mom again on the 23rd and 24th, but I couldn't wait to see her tree til then, so I asked if she'd send me some photos.

Every year her trees stick to a certain theme. This year it's Cardinals. It's SO PRETTY! (Sorry, this one's a little blurry)

She found some grapevine in her woods, (GOTTA LOVE FREE GRAPEVINE) and I LOVE the way it looks around the tree...

If I can talk her into letting me do it, I will take some more photos of their ADORABLE Craftsman style home while I'm down there visiting. It is MAGICAL!

  7. What a beautiful tree! It's easy to see where you get your eye for design.

I hope Mom does let you post pics of her house. I'm sure it's beautiful!

  8. Your mom and I think alike :) I have cardinals in sweet little nests adorning my grapevine-wrapped tree! Although, I bought my grapevine half-price at Hobby Lobby :)

  9. Well, it's obvious the apple doesn't fall too far from the design tree. What a great tree. I also wanted to let you know you've received a blog award. Visit my blog and claim your award!

  11. This is beautiful. I want to show this to my girlfriend--her sister died this past year, and she loved cardinals. Your mom did a fantastic job.
