Beach House Bunk Room

One of my readers (from Florida) sent me these wonderful photos of the Bunk Room she had built into her beach house back in 1996.

It is just precious.
I love the polka-dot bedding, the rope-covered ladder rungs, the boat-docking cleats used as hardware, and the beadboard-clad walls.

Thank you Karin!

  2. That's a great room! So sweet and a theme that doesn't get AT ALL obnoxious. I was hoping to do a beachy/ocean theme in the kids' bathroom and want to accomplish the same type of effect. Thank for posting and thanks reader Karin for sharing.

  12. It's obviously stood the test of time, 10+ years and still looking great. It's a nice alternative to the standard bunks.
