I realize the photos don't really show much of the hallway, but we're not quiiiiiite done. We're close, I swear! I just couldn't go to bed tonight without posting something!
As soon as everything is finished, you'll be the first to know! :-)
XO,
Layla
PS...The samples we showed in our last video only come in a satin finish, (my favorite!) and I've used them on walls and furniture tons of times without any trouble at all! :-) Oh! Also, there is insulation behind the wood planks, for those of you who were wondering. When the house was first built, all that covered the planks was wallpaper.

Lovin' it already!!
ReplyDeletei had actually wondered about the insulation. our house was built in the 1920's and sadly there is no insulation ANYWHERE in the walls or i would have torn the sheet rock off a loooooooooong time ago! we have the same lovely ship-lap. sigh...
ReplyDeletelove that old house charm! trying to think of something unique to add to my own hallway...board and batten? Or some other kind of architectural addition??
ReplyDeleteI, too, was wondering about the walls, so thank you for explaining:)
Happy painting!
Gawgeous! Gawgeous! It looks great so far!
ReplyDeleteLoooooove it!!!
ReplyDeleteI was tellin someone about you guys doin' this- and I guess the difference between an okay designer and a great designer is taking huge risks. I would never dare to knock out my drywall! I just couldn't do it. But here you've done it and it's gonna be lovely.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be so neat if past homeowners could see what you have done...hopefully they have viewed your blog!! I think they would be thrilled to see how 'loved' this home is! I can't wait to see the big REVEAL!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed weekend!! <><
