Random.org chose our winner at midnight last night...
Congratulations Remodelaholic!
I hope you enjoy the necklace! (I know you will!) :-)
Please drop Amanda a line at queenbeedesigns@cox.net to claim your prize.
We're having another giveaway this week from Hudson Goods, so for those who didn't win the necklace, come on back and throw your name in the hat again this week for a chance to win another fantastic prize!
Kevin's got another vlog (that's video/blog) post scheduled for later today, so if you're curious about those shelves he's been building, come back and visit us a little later. They are finally starting to look like real, chunky, built-in bookcases! Yahoo!
Wait a second.
Since they don't really hold "books", and they'll mainly hold baskets- does that make them basketcases?
:-)
Anybody going to see this movie on Friday?
,
I cry every time I watch the trailer!
:-)
Layla

Thank-you for admitting you cry...I told my hubby that and he thought I was just being an emotional female. I really want to go see it!
ReplyDeleteThe movie is good as far as it goes. But it would have been even better if it had addressed our system of white privilege and how it perpetuates poverty. It is no accident that the white characters in the movie have more advantages. Watch author Tim Wise on YouTube to learn more, for example.
ReplyDeleteI really want to see that movie!
ReplyDeleteevery time i see the trailer i just die. it looks SO CUTE! definitely seeing asap!
ReplyDeleteMy son just said he wanted to see Blind Side. Finally, a movie we can go see together (he's 14 so we are usually don't see eye to eye re movie picks).
