Maybe it's because my Guest Bathroom is currently painted neon purple.
Maybe it's because my Master Bathroom is a crazy shade of neon yellow.
Whatever the case may be, I'm in a "I-want-to-look-at-pretty-bathrooms-mood" right now.
I want these little hexagon-shaped floor tiles so bad! (Mental note: look for them on Ebay) And I'm LOVIN' the old mantel propped up against the wall to frame the clawfoot tub. I can never find one that looks like that though. It looks like the chair has been reupholstered in white terry cloth....what a great idea! I have a chair almost exactly like that, that I bought for $5.00 at a flea market. NOW I know what I'm going to do with it! :-) The crystal doorknob and chandelier are so perfect. I am feeling totally inspired to start tackling one of our bathrooms. Oh wait, I have to finish 18 other projects I've already started first.....sigh.
Two words. BRICK WALL! I would've loved to have uncovered one in this house, but I don't think that's going to happen. Maybe I'll just have to use a rustic brick veneer to achieve this look......(insert the sound of my wheels turning here)
I've gotta admit, I'm a sucker for the vessel sink. I'd love to find an OLD piece of furniture and put one of these on top of it. I'm crazy about the combination of old and new. Ooh! Speaking of OLD...I almost forgot! My Mom said I could have the dining room table and chair set that has been passed down in our family for the last 100 years! I'm SO excited! It's got like 15 leaves...no more tray tables in the Living Room for all of our overflow guests! Can't wait to show you pictures, it's amazing.

I love clawfoot tubs, so I'm loving that particular pic. I know once you start the bathroom, it will look phenominal in the end. How's your wrist today?

Ewww..Awww..I am so loving these bathrooms. My house was built in the 70's and still has the bathrooms and cottage cheese ceilings to prove it. My master bath is very small with only a shower but I hold out hope that one day I will have a pretty bathroom just like these..a girl can dream :)
What great designs! I'm sure you will come us with something outstanding. Can't wait to see which project you are going to tackle next.

Layla! I can't believe I just found your blog. Let me tell ya. I've got one little word: obsessed! I love it!
I also really love old furtiture refurbished as a bathroom vanity.
I'll be back to visit again :) Thanks for some wonderful decorating eye candy.
Oh bathrooms are fun to do...little space, you can inject some uniqueness and fun if you look around. That brick wall is spectacular!!
We just re-did two old (think 70's harvest gold) bathrooms, and found a REALLY old chinese butcher block and asian altar table as our vanities. Perfect...for us.
You'll do a wonderful job. I know it! So fun to watch you guys do your stuff!
I hope your wrist is better!
I love love love the terry cloth chair - now just to find the perfect guinea pig chair to test it out on...
Those are fabulous looking loos...that brick is gorgeous.
