Well, we're almost ready to pack it up and head back to 'Bama, so while we make our way home- here's another incredible "before and after" we thought you might like to check out!
Meet Ashli...
Meet Ashli's super cute blog...
She sent us an email about her Mudroom re-do recently and man are we ga-ga for the gorgeous green paint she used!
("Bay Leaf" by Martha Stewart)
Check it out...
Hey Layla!
I'm Ashli and I'm am a huge fan of your blog!
I recently blogged about our Mudroom re-do and I thought you and your readers might enjoy seeing our before and after photos too!
We only spent about $180 on the whole project.
We started with this...
Added some of these...
And ended up with this!
I hope you like it!
Love,
Ashli from Maillardville Manor
We do! We do!
We're especially fond of the boot tray...
LOVE the idea to use stones as a base for those boots!
We're also diggin' the monogrammed mirror...
and the Ikea hooks on the wall below it...
You can flip 'em closed when they're not being used.
Genius!
And we're crazy about those little baskets above the coats too...
Talk about a perfect fit!
Way to rock that re-do Ashli!
You've inspired us to finish tackling our mudroom now too!
We hope you enjoyed the tour of Ashli's mudroom as much as we did, and if you've got a mudroom you'd like to show off, we hope you'll link to it here!
Here's how it works:
- Create a descriptive name for your re-do in the “Name” field. This will make it easier for folks to browse through all the different re-do's.
- Make sure to link to your specific mudroom re-do post, not the main page of your blog.
- If you want to, link to this post from your post so that all your readers can join in on the fun too.
Thanks in advance to everyone who links up!

I'm lovin' the green wide stripes in that mud room! I also love the boot tray idea as well. Makes me want to redo my mud room....we need more organization for sure:)
Ooh, love it! Girly and functional, organized and fun!
Oh dear! My "mudroom" looks as if it's just about the same size. It's a blank slate now and I was going to turn it into a pantry (because really, I think we may be more in need of that), but this has me SERIOUSLY rethinking that!!! I could just copy this EXACTLY!!
Thanks for sharing, I think it must be that I read your blog everyday, I recently did a little transformation in our reading nook and I'm really happy with the result.
Great mudroom makeover. Really enjoying your three makeover posts. Fab inspiration there. Your linky parties have been added to Creative Link Up - http://creativelinkup.blogspot.com/

How fabulous..all that and sweet design in such a small space....love it! Thanks for sharing.
P.s. I've been working on a mud room of my own...I may make use of some of her ideas.
Happy Day

We don't really have mudrooms here in Ireland but my utility room is the nearest thing, so I linked up to my makeover, hope that's ok.
I "heart" mudrooms! I love her boot tray also. Great idea for the winter.
We didn't have one at our old house, but we do now! Thanks for the link party. I linked up my tutorial for a mudroom bench.

Like it? I LOVE it!!
Perfect post for me right now. I am redoing our front entryway and alot of these ideas could work there as well. Love your blog, Layla!
This is SO inspirational!! I love that bright kelly green color too!
I love all the details in that mudroom! Just so perfect. We don't even have a coat closet, let alone a mudroom... Sad.
I love mudrooms! And Ashli's looks amazing! Love love love it!
Love the green painted stripes. How fun. I don't have a mudroom but think this would just as cute in a closet. Closet's can be boring but never with bright green stripes!

I'm so, so very sad:( We just redid our mudroom (actually it's more of a closet) and it such a huge change that I wanted to share it on here...but alas, I am too late!
