Howdy friend!
We're finally getting back into the swing of things around here (I don't know why, but it always takes us several days to "recover" after a road trip- is that weird?)
So while we get after a few projects in the master bedroom room- we thought we'd host a little giveaway today.
One of our sponsors, Donna, from Timeless-Settings.com let me pick out a goodie from her online shop to give to one lucky TLC reader.
(She's a real sweetheart that Donna!)
I love picking out gifts for friends, and I really hope you like what I decided on!
It's a hand-loomed "Paris" dishtowel...
It's 100% cotton, and the colorful Paris scene is silk screened in 12 colors and framed with embroidery.
The edges are bordered with hand dipped rick rack, and there are 3 colorful woven stripes down each side.
(PS- It actually comes packaged in an pretty organdy bag, so if you'd like to give it away as a gift, it's good to go!)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you'd like to enter the giveaway, swing by Timeless Settings (you'll love her necklaces too!) and then come back here and leave a comment on this post.
The giveaway will be open from today (Aug. 24, 2010) until noon (Central Time) on Friday, August 27th.
We'll announce the name of the winner sometime next week.
Good luck!

My "little peanut of a 7th grade son" Krew just started French in school. He is quite obsessed with France, and is bound and determined that he will visit many times throughout his life. I was just thinking a couple of days ago, that I would like to get him something French-like that is both unique and lovely for him to cherish. I think you know what I mean cute girl... take special care.
Um, I was so excited about this towel that I sent you an email instead of leaving a comment. Oopsie Daisy!!

Hi :)
I just checked out Timeless Settings. Great site with beautiful stuff. I love the way everything is displayed...whether it is resting on a sand dollar or a spool of thread. Looks awesome.
Thank you so much for the greatttt blog at TLC and for all the posts of other places to check out.
You guys are awesome!

I love this dish towel! We honeymooned in Paris, so it holds a very special place in our hearts!
My romantic hubby surprised me with a trip to Paris in June for our tenth year wedding anniversary. It was a big (read: expensive) trip for us so we brought back many happy memories but no souvenirs. This would be a perfect decorative reminder of our trip.
so cute! and I'm definitely lovin' the jewelry!
I love the paris tea towel. So flea market-esque. What a great little shop she has over there. I will defiently keep it in mind as I am decorating.
Her tea towels are so beautiful! Thanks for the giveaway!
This really caught my eye! I just finished sewing up a really sweet pillow from a similar tea towel that says "Great Lakes" and features a map of the Great Lakes area. As a past visitor to Paris, I would love to sew this one up and have a matched set. Clearly, my vacation destinations have become less exotic since I became a parent. Someday, I'll take my kids to Paris, but for now we mostly visit sites within a day's drive of our Illinois home.
I love the dish towel, would love to win. Checked out Timeless Settings, great stuff!
what a fun and colorful dishtowel.
Love your blog! Found it through Bower Power.
Also love Timeless Settings! Such beautiful things at amazing prices!
The Paris towel is wonderful! My middle daughter is all about all things French, so I would probably sneak it in her stocking this Christmas ;)
so adorable! I love it!
