Mom's Christmas Tree - 2008
I'm going to visit my Mom again on the 23rd and 24th, but I couldn't wait to see her tree til then, so I asked if she'd send me some photos.
Every year her trees stick to a certain theme. This year it's Cardinals. It's SO PRETTY! (Sorry, this one's a little blurry)
She found some grapevine in her woods, (GOTTA LOVE FREE GRAPEVINE) and I LOVE the way it looks around the tree...
If I can talk her into letting me do it, I will take some more photos of their ADORABLE Craftsman style home while I'm down there visiting. It is MAGICAL!

Aww, I love the cardinals. My grandmother loved, loved them and it reminds me of her. Rest her soul.
Merry Christmas, Layla.

Oh that is SO pretty!
Oh please take photos of her home. We just bought a craftsmen style home and I need help. I moved here from a very traditional Virginia farm house.... beautiful tree
beautiful tree!
I LOVE IT!!! Thanks so much for sharing. Tell her we are all cheering for pictures (especially this craftsman homeowner!) Merry Christmas, Layla!
I love the red cardinals on the tree! So cute.
Beautiful!!! I love redbirds too. Tell your MOM hi for me and good luck getting some photos of her house for us~
What a beautiful tree! It's easy to see where you get your eye for design.
I hope Mom does let you post pics of her house. I'm sure it's beautiful!
Your mom and I think alike :) I have cardinals in sweet little nests adorning my grapevine-wrapped tree! Although, I bought my grapevine half-price at Hobby Lobby :)
Well, it's obvious the apple doesn't fall too far from the design tree. What a great tree. I also wanted to let you know you've received a blog award. Visit my blog and claim your award!
beautiful tree, wow those ornaments are great
This is beautiful. I want to show this to my girlfriend--her sister died this past year, and she loved cardinals. Your mom did a fantastic job.
