Scentsy Giveaway

It's no big secret that Kevin and I are obsessed with Scentsy.

In particular, "Mochadoodle" is seriously the best smelling stuff EVER!

So we were stoked when one of our wonderful sponsors, Lisa, graciously offered to give away a Scentsy package valued at $45 here on our blog this weekend!

The winner will receive a Scentsy Buddy & Scent Pack, a Scentsy Plug In, and one Scentsy Bar of your choice.





(The "Scent Pack" actually goes inside the Scentsy Buddy, so they smell good too!)

Timeless Settings

Howdy friend!

We're finally getting back into the swing of things around here (I don't know why, but it always takes us several days to "recover" after a road trip- is that weird?)

So while we get after a few projects in the master bedroom room- we thought we'd host a little giveaway today.




One of our sponsors, Donna, from Timeless-Settings.com let me pick out a goodie from her online shop to give to one lucky TLC reader.

I love picking out gifts for friends, and I really hope you like what I decided on!

It's a hand-loomed "Paris" dishtowel...



It's 100% cotton, and the colorful Paris scene is silk screened in 12 colors and framed with embroidery.
The edges are bordered with hand dipped rick rack, and there are 3 colorful woven stripes down each side.

Kevin is Infatuated with Mochadoodle

My Kev is an interesting fella.



If you've read our blog more than once or twice, you probably already know that he plays in a rock band, enjoys tearing apart and fixing up old houses, and is a diehard college football fan.

But what you may not know about my Mr. is that he is completely. infatuated. with candles.

Yep.
That's right.

Candles.

The man has to have at least one burning at all times.

I swear!

And while Mrs. Palmer usually thinks the house smells fine, and that they should conserve the candles for when company comes over-
Mr. Palmer, on the other hand, says they "shouldn't spend money on candles if they aren't going to ever use them".

(Don't worry- I stopped fighting him on this subject the day we found the $1.00 "Mainstays" on the candle aisle at Walmart. He's welcome to buy and burn as many of those bad boys as he wants!)



This year for his birthday I got him a steamer (he decided he was going to start eating more veggies this year, and that's the only way he'll eat 'em.), a t-shirt from Old Navy, and, no joke, a BRICK of this stuff...



Mochadoodle is described as, "Delicious roasted coffee beans and cocoa, balanced with sugar, caramel and heavy cream.", and it's Kev's absolute favorite scent.

His birthday was about a month ago, and I think he's used the steamer one time- but that brick.
Don't you know that thing is almost gone !

Ramsign House Plaque Giveaway

We've got a great giveaway from a company called Ramsign today!



Ramsign is a small (2 person!) Danish company, that sells classic enamel house name and number signs, based on original designs and techniques.

Each Ramsign plaque is made from a steel plate that's coated in porcelain enamel.
The letter and number stencils they use to apply the words and addresses are cut by hand.

Look at the mock-up example they sent us...
