Daisy Cottage

"I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way...things I had no words for."

- Georgia O'Keeffe

One of my favorite places to visit on the web is Daisy Cottage.

It's sunny...

It's cheerful...

It's refreshing...

It's tranquil...

It's precious!

so pretty! I'd give up my house in the burbs for a cottage like that one!

I love Georgia O'keeffe's salty personality, more than her art actually. One of my favorite quotes of hers was something like: "I painted flowers because flowers were cheaper than models, and they stood still longer." ha ha!

She was a hoot! Good videos of her at Netflix

She's all those things and..... the reason I started blogging.... How can anyone be a part of Blogland and not know who she is.

Wonderful tribute Layla :)
