Layla, do your jars have rubber inserts to keep the lids in place? I can't seem to find any w/lids like that- I want them to be airtight. I like your little transformation! Sue
Hey Layla! I love those labels, and I love visiting your blog. Your style is refreshing and simple and wonderful. I can't wait to see the upcoming bathroom project!
I wanted to tell Sue from the first comment above, that if she lives near an IKEA, they have very similar jars with silver lids that do have the plastic seals.
Love the labels too! Did you paint/spray over them so they can be washed? I've wanted to do this for a long time! Was thinking about etching paste too..?
This is such a great idea! Thanks! I love your website, I added it to my Favorite Blogs sidebar. Come check out my website at: jennymariesays.blogspot.com You have great style! Our previous home was decorated what I would call Shabby Chic but I just couldnt see our new house in that type of decor so I started over with "Global" look.
Great idea!! Do you share the source of the jars and labels? Love your blog. Just as soon as things slow down in a couple of weeks I am getting photos ready for your help! Thanks for the ideas Linda
I really looove those jars...and am wondering the same thing as some of the other gals; 1)where to find them...they rock! 2)are they air tight? 3)are they yours? or did you just feature them?
I found the jars...they are at target (online only) and cost $17.99 They are only sold in 2.5 gallon size. They are airtight though, and recommended for storing baked goods!!!!
LOVE IT!! I have a thing for jars in the cabinets!! I had better hurry on over to Target. It is funny how so many online trends start there. First the bird salt n pepper shakers.... now the jars!! :)

How lovely! It's funny how just adding labels changes things.
