Check out my new tablecloth. Oops. I mean, duvet cover.

Sleeping on the dining room floor has (surprisingly) been pretty relaxing experience, but after last night, I discovered that sleeping on the dining room floor alone is the total pits!

At least I had Max and Bean to suffocate snuggle me.

Not to worry though, Kevin's on his way back from Atlanta as I type. And although he's extremely tired, he's really happy with the way the backstory scenes turned out.

He didn't get to Tweet as much as he had hoped because it just too darn dark for his cell phone camera, but he was able to shoot lots of well-lit, high-def, behind-the-scenes footage with our friend Josh's RIDICULOUSLY awesome Canon 5D camera, so I look forward to sharing some of it here on our blog this week.

Hate to write and run, but it's lunchtime, and eating in the dining room has never been more fun.

Ya know.....I kinda like the way your bed looks in the dining room, lol. The chandelier and everything. It makes it look really classy. Unless the flow of your house would make it awkward, maybe you should leave the bed there!
;)
Can't wait to see the new room!

There aren't many houses in which a bed looks good in the dining room, but you make it work! In fact, I'm a little jealous--it looks so peaceful and restful.

I absolutely adore your style. I would kill to have a bedroom that looks as good as your misplaced bed in the dining room

You have talent girl!

Yay!
I know you'll be glad to get him home so you guys can finish the bedroom closets and get back to your own beds. :)

Looks like the "wonder wall" actually makes a nice headboard :) Bet you can't wait to finish the MB project though!
We've been redo-ing our MB for 6 months now - hope yours goes a lot quicker than that!

i suppose eating in the dining room is a daily breakfast in bed for you, right!?

Hmmm, if that's your table cloth that would make you the centerpiece. Of course I'm sure Mr Palmer considers you his 'hot dish'!

Glad Kevin had a successful shoot! Can't wait to hear more about it. Your bedroom in the dining room looks awesome! You just have that "flare" Layla and you make everything look good! We are jealous! Just kidding! Can't wait to see how the new bedroom is turning out. I know you will be glad to have your snuggle partner tonight. Love & blessings from NC!

You look adorable Layla in you're dining room's peaceful and beachey atmosphere.
I actually do love when we do things like that or sleep in other rooms cause of company.
It is almost like going away, but cheaper and you know where not to stub your toe on the way to a midnight bathroom trip. hehe
Great that Kevin is on his way home. geri.
